HOW IT WORKS:

CI-126 *changes Montana’s Constitution to alter the way we conduct Primary Elections.

Under *RCV/Top 4
, four candidates would advance to the General Election, regardless of party. RCV allows voters to RANK CANDIDATES in order of preference rather than choosing just one. If no candidate wins a majority (50%) of the first-choice votes, the candidate with the fewest votes is eliminated, and those votes are relocated to their next choice until a candidate secures a majority. If you vote incorrectly, your vote gets thrown out!
